HURRIYA BURNEY

KEYNOTE SPEAKER | WRITER | SALES EXECUTIVE | ADVOCATE FOR DIVERSITY & INCLUSION

My Message

I help women and minorities build successful careers without fear and doubt by tapping unique talents and building authentic connections.

As an immigrant female corporate executive, I have lived the unique challenges that women and minorities face in navigating their careers. I inspire them to flourish without giving up who they are, through stories of culture, diversity, adversity, and triumph that bind us together in our global mosaic.

Hurriya graciously shared her personal experience and insights for Canadian immigrants through video interviews in our online ASCEND program. Her contributions strike that key balance between being both engaging and practical— she provides accessible advice in succinct steps— the exact type of advice that newcomers can directly utilize. This is invaluable “insider” information for every newcomer in the program looking to enhance their employment readiness.
